In addition to highlighting the musicality of urban life, Inada frequently manipulates perspective by inverting images to express a parallel reality. His influence is a fluid blend of late ‘80s surf and skate culture, industrial design, Bauhaus, Russian Constructivism, jazz, films like Taxi Driver and Blade Runner, New York architecture and more. Inada’s work has been shown at MoMA PS1 and elsewhere.
